I need some ideas! My grandmother recently passed away. She was in a nursing home, and the staff did a really good job taking care of her. (My mom works in a nursing home, so she knows good care!) Anyway, we will be going back to say thank you to the staff, and my mom has asked me to do a cake for them.

Does anyone have any ideas on the cake? Any ideas are appreciated!

Thanks!

I would think that something simple would be nice and for it to simply say thank you....maybe bright cheery flowers all around on it.....they will aprreciate whatever you present them with knowing that it coming from the heart.

Well the first thing that crosses my mind is the Wilton doll house stand up pan, on a sheet cake, with something like "Thank you for the Home away from home"

I think newtodecorating's idea sounds perfect, it will get the message across.
