Hello everyone~ I'm making a cake for a family dinner tomorrow and was thinking of trying to basketweave the sides, it's an 8" round cake. Can anyone tell me about how long it takes to do a basketweave on this size of cake? I've practiced it before, but never done it on a cake and don't want to spend too much time on it, since I'm also doing a 1/4 sheet cake tonight.

It should take about an 30 to 45 minutes.
