I'm having a rough time with a sheet cake I'm doing for my Grandmother's 80th birthday tomorrow.

I made buttercup yellow icing for the cake, but now I'm not sure what to do for the border colour. Would white be too stark, or maybe I should stick with doing it in the same colour. I'm putting a big bouquet of flowers on the cake. They are violet, pink, white and yellow. I was going to use either juniper or moss green for the leaves and steams.

Any suggestions?

Immediately I thought of white - I love that combo. But after hearing your description of the flowers, I think violet would be gorgeous also.

AWWWW... I was going to say white also, but now that you said violet, that would be my pick also..... it would tie the flowers in just beautifully.....Hope you post a picture !
