I cannot find black cupcake liners on line:
I found red metallic & the links below have cut out liners with very nice decorations.....
She may like one of them, there are some very elegant ones.

I did a search & came up with these links:

http://www.paperorchidstationery.com
They didn't have plain black that I could find but some very cool designs....

Good Luck

I posted on this same subject earlier this week and the only black paper liners I have found have gold stripes on them. Not really the look I am going for. The paper wrappers are to expensive because I had already priced my cupcakes at a dollar a piece. (simple cupcakes with no decoration, only swirl icing and black cupcake liners)

Anyway, here is what I came up with. I bought some black card stock paper and made a template design to wrap around the cupcake. Then I traced and cut out as many wrappers as I will need and then will either glue or double sided tape them around the cupcake the day of the event.

The wrappers ended up costing me about $0.05 a piece and a little bit of my time to figure out the correct measurements.
