I have since cakes that look like a slice of cake is it a pan if not how is it done? can some tell me. thanks sammie
The only time I've seen something like this they had made it out of rice krispies and they just molded it to shap - didn't use a pan.
I sliced a piece out of the cakes. The covered them with fondant. I pieced the fondant so that the edges would be straight. It's actually very easy.

I recently did one of these from a 9" pan. I used 3 of the wedges. I also used buttercream to frost. I was practicing because I'm making a bigger slice next week. Here's a picture...
