I have since cakes that look like a slice of cake is it a pan if not how is it done? can some tell me. icon_smile.gif thanks sammie

I've not seen a pan. I'm pretty sure it's just a slice of cake.

The only time I've seen something like this they had made it out of rice krispies and they just molded it to shap - didn't use a pan.

I sliced a piece out of the cakes. The covered them with fondant. I pieced the fondant so that the edges would be straight. It's actually very easy.

or take a single layer cake...

cut into fourths (wedge style)

fill and stack for a tall cake slice cake.

I recently did one of these from a 9" pan. I used 3 of the wedges. I also used buttercream to frost. I was practicing because I'm making a bigger slice next week. Here's a picture...
