you have one...

I just received this computer about a month ago. Brand new from Dell.. I had it built just for my caking needs LOL.... anyways if you have one you know how expensive they are...

I am having trouble with the shutting down of the computer.

I can do it manually (by pushing the power down button) but it doesn't want to shut down by itself... anybody else having these issues with this?

Thanks a million

Christi

Try checking your power options under control panel. It might have a setting wrong.

Visit the Dell web site for a fix. The shutdown problem could very well be related to a hardware for that model of computer -- or maybe even be caused by a pre-loaded program Dell put on the machine (at the factory) that isn't exiting properly at shut down.
