I bought the CK PRODUCTS gum paste mix. The instructions say 1 cup of mix with 1 tablespoon hot water. blend 1/2 mix and the water in a small lightly greased mold.

Now is is 1/2 of the cup or is it 1/2 of the mix in the bag??? Does anyone work with this mix?

Thanks,

This is just a guess because I haven't used CK gumpaste in quite a while, but I'm thinking it is 1/2 a cup. With the amount of water specified I don't think you would get more than crumbles.

Its the 1/2 cup (not the bag). I've used this one before. So you are using a total of 1 cup. Makes a nice gumpaste but have you tried the Nicholas Lodge recipe (on his website). Makes such a better gumpaste than the mix and so easy to do IMHO.
