OK - the gals at my "regular job" want me to hold a little work shop after work to show them some basic techniques. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am kinda selfish about my recipes. But I like the gals I work with. What would you show them as far as basics go??

If you wanted to do this, you could just show them how to ice a cake, how to hold a decorator bag, shell borders, stars, bead border, maybe drop flowers and basic roses.

I've done this with friends, it's actually pretty fun! And my friends have come to respect that it's an art.

Tell them there are lots of recipes out there and then suggest they start with a no fail, simple decorating icing like the Wilton Decorating Icing.
