Right now, JC Penney has them on sale, $150 down from $300. Does anyone have one? What do you like or dislike about it? Any and all thoughts on these appreciated. Thanks!

I have the Cooks mixer and I love it. It whips up frostings without any problems and it's been able to handle any job I've thrown at it thus far.
The only caveat about it is that it's loud. The higher the speed, the louder it is. But it's 700 watts so that might account for the noise. But I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good mixer without paying the KA price.

I almost killed my little cheapy mixer last night making just a double batch of frosting. I'll be looking into this some more!
