What Color Other Than White Would Be Good With Gold?

I have a customer wanting a cake that only says SUGGA on it with some Baby Phat Perfume Cats on the board... she is stuck on gold as her color as the bottle is gold.... any suggestions of colors I can use to accent? TIA
IMHO I think deep, jewel toned colors go well with gold. A deep ruby/wine red and gold is one of my favorite color combos. Navy/Midnight Blue, and Forest Green would be my next two.

Well I think Baby Phat uses a lot of pink and black in their line, so you could use those with the gold.
I would do the pink and black for baby phat, If you do a different color it would throw the whole thing off in my opinion.
I second the opinion of Lanibird. IMHO, gold is a neutral and anything will go with it, but the jewel tones with gold are very regal.
I definitely agree that jewel tones are very nicely complemented when paired with gold, but since it is specifically a Baby Phat cake, I would use the Baby Phat colors which are black, pink and gold. Personally I love sapphire blue and gold, but that wouldn't look very ghetto-fabulous for this Baby Phat cake.
