I found a way to keep little kids fingers out of the cake. I had a bag with some frosting in it in case I needed to do a touch up, my neices just kept wanting to touch the cake, so I asked them to each hold a finger out and I piped some icing them and told them they could have that taste until it was time to eat cake. They thought that that was fun.

We hadn't taken any pictures of the completed cake yet and my fil had not seen it yet. I was worried that a big finger smear would be on it and had to think fast.

Yeah, I do this with my kids! Except they open their mouth, and I grab the deco bag and "shoot" the icing into their mouths! (Or their face, glasses, hair, LOL) They love it! icon_biggrin.gif But mine are older, 8 and 9 year olds.
