I am going to do cupcakes next month for a birthday and she wants RBC. Do I cut out the circle shape of the cupcake and put the RBC on when it is warm like I've read people do with cookies? or is there a better/easier method. This is my first paying customer and I'm very nervous to get it right.

I want to try adhering while warm, but haven't had the chance.
I have adhered RBC with some corn syrup.... this works well.
Also read of people putting buttercream icing down first them putting rolled buttercream on (it acts as the glue).
Good luck!.
