Decided to make cake 2 layer square cake
top layer - white color have apple banana cherries,pizza,juice ,cookies,small soup bowl
lower layer in orange color
fondant is best or marzhipan for icing
please give me some suggestions

Hi vk, welcome to CC!! Do you mean that you want to make those food items out of marzipan??

Ya i want to make those items displaying on my top layer displaying.soup bowl in the middle,pizza,cookies in one corner,banana,apple ,cherries ,and juice in another corner
Two layer square cake
one is ornge color
top layer is in white
need advice whether i go with fondant or marzhipan

I haven't used marzhipan, however I have sculpted items out of fondant & love it. It was actually a store bought Wilton fondant. I made my 1" figures about 2-3 days ahead, I wish I would have had a week so I could have done more... and they did take a good day to dry, even though they were that small. Good luck & wish I could be of more assistance!

Thanks for the advice.Can you suggest me how many days before i have to make the fondant shaped items
before birthday
if i make any thing with gumpaste that will also take more time to dry
and how to store these things like apple shaped fondant one
