I'm doing a chocolate cake and getting ready to fill and ice and decorate. I thought I had raspberries and was going to do a raspberry filling, but I must have used it.

I don't want to do just regular BC for the filling and the only thing I have on hand is a jar of sweet orange marmalade. I even have orange extract so I could even put some in the icing so it has a hint of orange too.

Has anyone used Orange Marmalade for filling? How do I do it? Do I mix it with BC or just by itself. Thanks!

I haven't done it, but if I were going to, I wouldn't mix it with buttercream...I'd just use an icing dam and use it by itself.

Thanks! I couldn't get back online last night after I posted this question so I went and just did regular BC.

I'll try it next time! Thanks!
