is there anything I can use for these other than "glucose" and "glycerine"? (Which I'm thinking are other ways of saying sugar!)
The only other thing I can think of for glucose is corn syrup, which is essentially glucose with a little more water in it.
I don't know what would replace glycerin since it is used to make fondant and gumpaste softer and stretchier.
This probably wasn't much help, but it's the best that I could do.
