Can Fondant Be Put Over Imbc Or Smbc?

I've never tried either, so am not sure. I was going to use the whipped cream buttercream recipe from this site, which looks like a meringue type icing.

I've only ever put fondant over Crisco-based BC.

Yes. I put it over SMBC.

Your fondant will melt if you put it over whipped cream frosting! thumbsdown.gif
