I baked 2 8.5 in round for a cake i need for sunday, but theres a problem. One of my cakes craked down the middle when i started to torte it. I crack is from one side to the next. What do I do? Will this be ok when i put BC on it, or is it to unstable and I should Just bake a new one? Iam going to have 2 6in rounds on top of the 2 8.5 inch cakes. What do yall think, bake a new one or use some BC "glue" ? Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not really sure, but if you do decide to use it, be sure to use supports (dowels, straws, etc.) to support the 6-inch layers. I wouldn't think that the crack would be a problem, but I've never tried it, either. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
