Hi guys,

I'll be making another fondant cake. This time for a friend. I'm so impressed by your cakes that I'd want to make one again. This time, I'd like to decorate it with a 3D figure. Any tips? I tried making one but it's a total disaster. The guy figure looked really funny. icon_eek.gif .
Do you just paint the eyes black? What do you actually use? I hope it's something I can find in our grocery store.

And one more question, is there a specific type of food colouring I have to use when i color my fondant? The ones we have here are very liquid, so if i want a very rich color, i just add more to it and in the end, the fondant becomes sticky. And rolling it is even more difficult coz the bottom sticks! icon_sad.gif It would really take me a very loooong time before I can lay it on my cake. The last time, I almost gave up!

Hope you can give me some tips. Thanks thanks! icon_smile.gif

oh, btw, fondant and gumpaste? they're the same?
