Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the red from bleeding into the white frosting? Thanks in advance for your help.

Neither have I, but if you are having that problem crumb coat your cake first with a very thin layer of icing (so you can just about see through it. Let it set for about 20 to 30 minutes and then put your regular coat of icing on.

i think you used too much color the the cake was frozen or refrigerated and sweated????

I always fridge my cakes but never had this happen.
I also only use 2 tbs coloring

i guess until we have more details on what you did we wont be able to help....please let use know
