Figure Advice Needed Please.

I made this cake yesterday and need some pointers on figure modelling. If anyone has time could you please take a look and give me some advice. I followed the instructions but they just don't seem to look exactly like they should. Is their a fool proof way to do it or does it just come with practice. Hi sasporella, your cake looks great. I think you have to keep on practising making figures. " Practice makes you perfect ". To be honest with you, I can't see anything wrong with your figures.

I wouldn't have attempted doing those figures. You have done a good job.
