Can you taste the sour cream in these types of cakes? Are there any recipes without sour cream that are just as good? detective.gif

You cannot taste it- just makes it much more moist icon_smile.gif If you don't like the idea of sour cream, you can sub some yogurt- same principal. I personally use mayonnaise in my chocolate cake and although it sounds gross, it is to die for!!

I love the enhanced recipe! I was really nervous you would be able to taste the sour cream, but you can't. when I make this people think it's a "homemade" cake. icon_lol.gif
