I'd like to make these Daisies and Gerbera Daisies for a cake but wonder how they are made. I know gumpaste is used to make them, but not sure how they are made - by hand, by a mold, by cutters? Could these be made by using the molds sold by Global SugarArt - see link?

Thank you all!

Yes, they could be made with those cutters. I have a set of Wilton cutters that aren't as fancy, but they do the job too. After you cut the shape and move it to your foam square, you would use the ball tool to thin out the petals a little bit, but don't ruffle the edges. It looks like they used a leaf veiner on the back side of the petals (to get that raised line in the middles). The center would just be made with a small round cutter, or a #12 tip for a tiny flower's center. The depression in the center was made by pressing it a little bit with a ball tool.
