I'm making a three tier and wondered what sizes would be best, most importantly, I don't want it to be short and stout!!!
What I had planned was
6 " round
What do you guys think??
an 8" square is going to come to the very edge of the 12"
But if you use a 7" square, it might look better. I didn't know any better when I did one and didn't like the results.
This is a 6-8-14-16 from the top down. They are not stacked but I would have just been able to get the 8 square on top of the 14 round. If you measure your square pan from corner to corner this should tell you how big of a round it will fit on. Measure and then go up 2 to 3 inches to find the best looking circle.
Whew! Thanks!! You have saved me A LOT of stress...I bought the 14" and thought it was too big so I was going to do the 12", but looking at that picture I can see that the 14" is necessary!!!
