This may be the dumb question of the day, I want to bake a baseball cake for my nephew problem is I live in Texas and he lives in Ct is there any way to ship a cake?

There is no such thing as a dumb question. Yes, cakes can be shipped. I have successfully shipped cakes from Arizona to Northern California and they have arrived with no damage. Other CCers have also shipped with no issues.
