Does anyone have a good Red Velvet Cake recipe. I have tried two and I find they are dry. I have never made a dry cake before and this is very frustrating. I have a bride who has sampled a red velvet cake with kahlua chocolate cream filling. I have been searching and testing, not having a lot of luck.
I thought with all of the experience out there, maybe someone would have a good recipe for me.
I appreciate any help I can get.
Thank you,
Deb

Here is a good article on Red Velvet Cakes:

http://www.thenewstribune.com/soundlife/food/story/282000.html

The "moistness" variable between the various recipes is the amount of fat (butter/sour cream/oil/shortening). The State Fair winning super moist Red Velvet cakes can have as much as 2 cups of oil in them.
