So i baked a beautiful german chocolate cake, BUTTTTT the frosting is sliding off!!! What should I do? Do I scrape it all off and start again??? HELP!!!!!
are you sure you cooked it long enough for it to get really thick and ooey-gooey sticky?
another option -- I've seen these cakes where the icing is ONLY on the top and in between layers. sides left "nude" -- so could tort that puppy and create extra layers of filling.
I may have rushed cooking the mixture. Do you think its okay if I scrape it off and start all over again?
all you can do is try.
tho' at this point I'd go w/ it just as filling and forget the sides.
