Does anyone have an extended recipe using Pillsbury cake mix? I searched the forums and the majority of the recipes use Duncan Hines cake mix. I prefer Pillsbury. I also noticed that many request pudding mix, but pillsbury already has pudding mix in it. Can i just eliminate the pudding mix if i use Pillsbury mix?
I am looking for a recipe that can be used for a stacked wedding cake.
(possibly covered in fondant)
Does anyone use the original recipe on the back of the boxes?

thanks for your help

I have used the extended mix recipe with each of the brands......DH, BC and PIL. There is no difference. I have also added pudding to mixes that already contain pudding and they turned out just fine.
BTW: the 'extended recipe' do not call for pudding. Just flour, sugar, and sour cream.

I use the enhanced cake formula all the time with Pillsbury and it turns out wonderful. I got it off the recipe section of CC, but I could type it out if you need me to! icon_smile.gif
