I just bought my 5qt. Artisan Kitchen-Aide mixer a few nights ago. I'm getting ready to make a few batches of buttercream icing and would like to know which attachment would you all reccomend that I use? icon_confused.gif My little $14.00 hand-held mixer only has one attachment!!! icon_lol.gif I'm sooo very excited to use it, but I don't want to break it, heck at this point I don't even want to get it dirty! Up until now I've just sat in my kitchen staring it and thinking how pretty it looks all shiny in black!!! icon_lol.gif

Thanks in advance for all your help!!

Use the flat paddle for b'cream and the wire whip for royal.

Will using the wire whip make it creamier or what does it do?
