I bought a cherry chip cake mix today. I never heard of it but it sounded good. I was going to make it for Easter and thought about cherry flavored buttercream. I thought about using maraschino cherry juice and it would have a nice pink color. Would I replace the vanilla or some of the milk or water?
I would replace the vanilla with the juice. Also, add however much juice you want....the right amount of flavor..and then add however much more milk (or water) you need to make the buttercream the right consistency.
