I have used wire for some things on my cake, but I have a few questions...I got the floral wire, but the strongest guage I could find at Michael's was 26. It is stiff, but not strong enough for some things I do...where do you guys get the 18 guage wire? Home Depot or OSH? Also, since the wire is packaged and usually wound around something how do you shape it so perfectly? Even when I try to straighten it, it isn't perfect. I have even seen some pictures on here where the wire has been wound in spirals...I can't think of how to get it so perfect...any suggestions?

for the spirals, just wind it around a dowel, or pencil icon_wink.gif
