My sister sent these pics to me in a email, I have no idea who made them but they are amazing!
It said they were made out of marzipan.
this has been going around for a couple of years. According to Snopes.com, these are NOT edible. They are made by a specific artist, don't remember her name, they are magnificent but they are not marzipan or anything edible.

Oh I guess they are'nt marzipan, thats what the email said. Oh well they are still amazing regardless what medium they are created in.
They are so life like yet so small, I can't imagine the work put into make them.
They really are amazing. I've liked Camille Allen's work for years and have always wanted one of her babies, but they are produced in a pretty limited amount, which of course, makes them expensive.

Yep, these are gorgeous works of art and are made of resin or polymer clay. They've been going around the web via e-mails and they've also made an appearance or two on CC.

Yes, exactly! My daughter was a preemie and she was never really, really tiny...but they remind me of some of the smaller babies in the NICU, the ones who were so small their moms couldn't touch them and just spent hours petting the incubators. Beautiful and sad at the same time.
i got these pictures from a forwarded email years ago and i have to admit it is pretty scary. LOL to see a baby that small... scares me. but the details are perfect i guess that's why they're a little creepy because they look so real.
