So I'm making the wedding cake and the dessert buffet for a wedding this weekend. It's for my sister or else this stuff would have been figured out a long time ago. But I need to figure out quantities.
They're expecting between 500-600ish people. (The grooms dad is a very prominent community figure.) There will be a buffet dinner and then an open dessert buffet as well as the cake.
This is what I'm making:
tuxedo dipped strawberries
tuxedo brownies (tart sized brownies with a cream cheese filling)
Cowboy cookie cups (tart sized chocolate chip cookies with a sour cream filling)
how much would you make of each??
Oh my heavens!! You have to do ALL that before Saturday????
For the small things you need to offer 2 or 3 of each.
For the cake you are going to have ot figure out what is the largest size pan you can put in your oven. After that we can figure what other sizes you will need.
I'm sure there will be at least one or two sheet cakes of the largest size you have. Maybe you could start baking those now and fz until Thur or Fri.
