I made 7 minute frosting for a lemon cake. Yummm. But I don't know anything about it. Does it need to be refrigerated? How long does it keep?
The recipe that I used was egg whites cooked with sugar and water and corn syrup then whipped.
I don't think it needs refrigeration, but it won't last too long. meringue becomes more spongy each day
Its really best eaten withen 24 hours I find.
