I've used food writers on fondant with no problems, but nothing too extensive. Mostly for eyes or small accents that are troublesome w/ fondant.

I don't think it'd be a problem.

You can use food writers - but in my experience, they "bleed" a little. The fondant writers work a little better.

I'm stumped, too.

Has anyone seen / used these dual tip pens from Kopykake? Seems like a great idea.

Gosh that is a great deal. I have purchased two different types of pens and don't like either one and there is only 5 colors and they were almost the same price. Thanks for the tip!

I've used the americolor ones on fondant and they work, just not that well. The color isn't/wasn't dark enough for me. I had to dip them in more color to get the look I was going for. I didnt know kopykake made them too...may just have to try them out!!!

Well I used the color a cookie edible ink markers that come with those cookie kits with 9 cookies. The kits were from Christmas. they were 10.00 but I got them for 2.00 when Michaels put them on clearance. The markers worked so well. the colors did not bleed and they were very bright and colorful.
