I have been asked to make a 3 D cake that looks like the Tower at the universty Of Texas I have seen pictures of this building I need help with how to make a cake that looks like this can someone please help with ideas

Do you have a link to aphoto of what you want to build? I was going to do a search, but if you are in a hurry a link to a photo would help for those of us who don't know what it looks like.

how many people do you need it to feed?
what type of icing? BC or fondant?

For the basic shape I would just start stacking square cakes (make sure you put dowels and boards every 4" of cake or your cake won't have any support) Stack as high as needed then carve the top layer or two.

Not sure exactly what kind of information you're looking for to build it. Is there anything else you need to know?
