Outside Wedding?

I have a bride that is having a outside wedding in june (Calif.) so around 80 degrees outside and wants a three tiered stacked white wedding cake filled with strawberries I told her it was to hot out she just sent me a email and said they would put a umbrella over the table icon_eek.gif How do I explain this is not going to lower the outside temp any suggestions on what I could make for her.Thanks for the help icon_cry.gif

Ask her, "If you carry an umbrella all day, does that mean you won't sweat?" (Which is the human version of "melting"!)

you always have the option of telling her you won't guarantee that cake under those conditions. if she still wants it, get $$$ up front and get her to sign a release BEFORE the wedding stating she understands that the cake may not stand up well under those conditions but that she wants it anyway.
