Whipped Ganache Cooling Time

Do you HAVE to allow ganache set over night before whipping it for filling? I forgot about it lst night, and I really need to get this put together ! It has been cooling a couple of hours......

I ususally allow mine to set for about an hour. The whipping cools in and helps it to firm up.

I whip mine in an ice bath!
