I would like to do a FBCT & edge it in black. As I always have problems getting a true black icing (yes, I do start with chocolate icing), could I use the Wilton icing that comes in the tube? Will it freeze properly & has anyone tried this? Also has anyone done a complete FBCT with the Wilton icings in a tube?

I have used that icing for an outline before and found it was softer than normal. I would recommend letting it freeze at least 12 hours and be prepared to do a little touch up with a wet paintbrush to smooth it if needed.
