Hi, I'm attempting to make the "Jack Daniels" cake that is posted in the galleries. I will make the label out of chocolate mmf, but would rather not cover the entire cake in fondant. My question is....Can I paint buttercream? I want to make the rest of the cake look like a brown bottle, with a little more "depth" than just plain brown buttercream. Any ideas???

Thanks so much & wish me luck!!

yes you can paint buttercream I would highly suggest using an airbrush tho you may get too much pick-up from the b/c if you use a bristle brush good luck hth
