I usually just use the tip of a toothpick or a straight pin, and gently lift on corner, and it will just pop out...... NOT TO SAY I haven't lost a few here and there !!! icon_redface.gif

I like to use the end of a lollipop stick or gumpaste tools are great that have a rounder edge (less likely to tear the fondant) just give it a couple gentle pokes around the edges and they usually fall out.

It is hard to do. It helps a little to dip in cornstarch before each time and then ease them out with a thin little knife or something like that.

i find that it you roll out the fondant and let it dry a little first, when you cut the letters, they're firmer and don't lose their shape. it's then easy to use a pin to coax them out. hth
