I found a few cakes I would like to try. There is a Thomas the Tank cake with the wonder mold pan mountain on it and some trees made from the sugar cone. Can anyone tell me what tip to pipe on the trees? And would I dowel the mountain? Also what tip to use to make the railroad track?

Thanks so much!
Jamie

I would use 66 or 67 for the trees and one of the round tips, probably 12, for the track.

Thank you!

Do I need to dowel the tunnel?

Thanks again!

Since I haven't seen the pic of this 'tunnel' cake it's hard to say but I don't think so.
Having said that....it never hurts to dowel. When in doubt do iticon_smile.gif

Nothing wrong w/using the leaf tips suggested for trees but you can also use tip 16-18 for a more pine tree look. Pull out the stars a bit - make them a bit more like a shell. Start at the bottom & work up.
