I charge $20 for regular cupcakes by the dozen. And if they want a lot of extra details, I add to that price.

I charge $3.00 for a basic cupcake.. that's chocolate or vanilla cake, not filled, with a swirl of BC and rainbow sprinkles. Then I have Fancy cupcakes that come filled and frosted. You can chose from any cake flavor or filling.. those are $4/each and both have a minimum of 1 dozen of each flavor you want.

It's a serving of cake.. so I charge the same.. I charge less for the basic cupcakes because I don't fill them and they are limited to chocolate or vanilla cake with chocolate or vanilla buttercream.

Hi there.
I charge $2.00 for 2 1/2 inch diameter cupcakes. I also charge $2.00 per serving. I do it by the dozen only. And that is for a minimalist cupcake. Fondant and or decorations are extra. For what you are describing I wouldn't go any less than $2.50 per cake, depending on what your area supports. Here in Calgary, cupcakes are $2.75, so I'm below the specialist competition, but still making a profit. HTH

Well I hve only sold cupcakes twice. Once a receipe (24 cupcakes) $20.00 and they were filled with baviarn cream and buttercream icing, swirl. I did a small business sale at work and sold the same type and sold for 1.75 each. I only sold a few though, was not a big seller. DOn't know how I would ever get more than 2.00 for them and almost always put filling in mine.
