If I'm making a recipe that calls for egg whites in the reg. recipe....can I use the cake mix extender as is....or do I need to just add the egg whites from the extender recipe??

If you're wanting a totally white cake, I'd leave the egg yolk out... however, on the other hand, I don't think that one egg yolk would add a lot of yellow color to the cake .. If it were me, I'd use the whole egg
