in the recipe section there is one for a decorator's buttercream, it has a small shortening to butter ratio so it gives a light crust but is nice and soft in the middle. you can also reduce the amount of powder sugar. i've come to love it. you might want to give it a try.

It was a sweet icing...sweet like traditional powdered sugar buttercream.
Some people think that is the yummiest, some don't.

yeah, that's the problem, I live in a house with diabetics. maybe I can try this for a kid's birthday though.
