I can do a better job making sculpted roses than piped ones. I sculpt bread dough clay and sculpy a lot but can't use these on a cake lol. I keep hearing bad things about fondant not doing well on the buttercream cake. Im wondering if this is true and if so is there's anything else to use? Im using the wiltons pure white canned buttercream. The bride likes the taste of it. The reception will be outdoors on Aug 20, It will be hot and dry. I can keep it under AC up until almost time for the reception. Anyy suggestions please????

Hi,

Try marshmallow fondant (MMF). It tastes much better than regular fondant. Here is a link to the recipe. icon_smile.gif
