I have seen pastry chefs use hot glue guns for melting sugar sticks but don't know of a sugar gun as such. Maybe a clay gun or extruder used for pushing out fondant designs?

I bought a clay gun at A.C. Moore for like 8 bucks and I got 40 percent off of that!! I used it for the fondant tassles on the pillow cake with tiara in my photos and also for the hair on the girl on the soccer cake! I love it and look for reasons to use it!

I bought a clay gun at Micheal's for $4.99- shocker it was a piece if junk. Then I bought one at my local cake supply store for 11.99, it works great, but it's small so you can't fit a lot of fondant/gumpaste in it.
