Hi,

Here is the cake I made for Halloween for my husband. Since I am a huge Clive Barker fan, I decided to try and make "Pinhead" instead of a zombie... icon_surprised.gif It is all cake and completely edible- even the pins in his head.

This is my first "carved" head cake, and my first real encounter with fondant. (let me tell you, it is so much easier working with clay- so the head is wider/rounder than I planned...) icon_sad.gif

Thanks to the CC'ers who answered my questions on another post about structure, support, etc... I decided to stack three cakes and just use a plastic straw as a dowel. Straws are suprisingly strong.

I had fun! icon_smile.gif
