I know that this has been asked before, but I cannot get the search to work quickly or effeciently so I am sorry asking this again. ANYWAY, I made some of Toba's fondant on October 11th and then colored it. I have a cake I need to throw together for this (Nov 3rd) weekend and want to do fondant details. Can I use the fondant that has been colored, covered, and sitting stored or do I need to whip up a batch now???

Fondant will keep for months. Go ahead and use what you have.

You will want to check it to be sure it hasn't dried out or crusted. give yourself enough time to make more, just in case.
