I have recently started decorating cakes and everybody wants me to make one for them. I love the look of fondant but I refuse to give something to someone that I know tastes bad. I've made my own out of marshmallows and I've used the Wilton boxed ones for small decorations. I dont like either of them. Any ideas would be great!

I have a fondant that I use all the time.... and people actually eat it! It is a little more expensive then the wilton fondant but in my opinion it is way worth it. It is called Ballina. Its from some south american company where it has number one rating so when I saw it in my local store I decided to give it a shot. It comes in vanilla or white chocolte but I have only used vanilla. I also find it easier to roll out. Try it and let me know what you think. They have a website you can order from if you dont have a local store:
