I have been asked to make one cake for two people's birthday. She said that one is into sports (a young boy) and the other is into music, the flute, piano, and getting her license this year (a teenage girl). Can anyone help me with an idea for a sheet cake. I don't know how to tie all of this in together. icon_cry.gif I searched the gallery but didn't have much luck. If you have done anything like this I would love to see your pictures.

Thanks,

Jennifer

THis is a fun idea.

You could have a girl driving away from a sports field.

or

make musical and sports cutouts from fondant and mix the mix for a design on the cake

Have you considered asking her to do two smaller cakes vs. one large one?

if it has to be a sheet, how about a foot ball field with a small stack of different balls on it, then areound it, instead of the track, you could do a road and put cars. do an oval track so that you have the four corners left, put music notes on those.

good luck

Or, playing off 2508s42's idea, how about a sports field (whatever sport he plays) and then put a fence to separate it from the the road where the car will be.
